German Language Program Options
 

Standard German Program: You will receive 20 classes of German language instruction per week plus 5 cultural classes per week. Each German language class is 45 minutes long. The main emphasis is placed on improving your German language communication skills. Lessons in grammar and conversation help you with syntax and vocabulary building. You practice formal and informal letter writing, and work on listening and reading comprehension. Maximum of 12 students per class (average of 8). This is the most popular program for people coming to this language school to study and learn German.

Intensive German Program: Study four lessons per day of general German (Standard Program) followed by an additional two lessons a day in small groups whereby the teacher can specifically focus on your individual needs and problem areas. This German language course is ideally suited to anybody wanting to make rapid progress in a short time. During the first 4 lessons per day there will be a maximum of 12 students per class (average of 8). The last 2 lessons per day will be in a mini group format with an maximum of 5-8 students per class.

Super Intensive German Program: Study four lessons per day of general German (Standard Program) followed by an additional one lesson per day in a private class. This German immersion course is ideally suited to anybody wanting to make rapid progress in a very short time or who needs to study German for a particular profession, etc. During the first 4 lessons per day there will be a maximum of 12 students per class (average of 8). The last 1 lesson per day will be in an individual class setting.

Individual German Language Instruction
Private language German courses are individually designed for each customer and are targeted primarily at the corporate sector, executives, government officials, professionals, or individuals who simply want the most intensive German immersion course possible. The individual approach speeds up the learning process and focuses on the needs of the particular client without having to compromise on, or take into consideration, other students.

Teen (High School) Summer Language Program
A popular German summer program for students between the age of 14 - 17. This German program offers German language courses, accommodation on campus, diverse activities and 24-hours supervision. Improve your German skills in the morning and have fun in the afternoon - with your new friends from all over the world and an exciting sport and leisure programme with many excursions and activities.

For those students who do not want 24 hour supervision there is an option for independent students aged 16-17 years old. This option provides alternative accommodations in a residence 15 minutes away from school campus.

 
German Language Program: What's Included?
 
  • Private room in a host family with a host family. Shared room is also available for people traveling together.
  • Students have the option to stay in an apartment (single or double room).
  • 2 meals per day with host family.
  • Access to email, the Internet, phone, and fax service (some services not free).
  • Books, handouts, etc. These are on loan from the school.
  • Airport pickup (not free)
  • Cultural Activities (small cost for entrance fees, etc.)
  • Weekend Excursions (not free)
  • Student manual provided by the school upon arrival.
  • Student Card which entitles the holder to discounts at a number of museums, theaters, restaurants and shops.
