The Jazz Festival, the Christmas market, cinemas, shopping centres, bars, restaurants, as well as several sport clubs and the Casino, are all no more than 10 minutes walk. You’ll enjoy our friendly classrooms, the shady terrace, the balcony view over the lake, and the modern equipment and materials that we use. You could join the other students in our pleasant cafeteria, check your email or surf the Net free of charge on our computers.

Leisure activities – Excursions

This program offers visits to the famous Château de Chillon, pleasure trips on the lake in one of the old-style paddleboats, or trips to the leisure centre and bowling alley. These activities take place at the beginning of the week and are not included in the course price.

The Riviera region also boasts amusement parks, museums, a wide choice of sports facilities, indoor and outdoor, mountain or water based, excursions on land and on water, concerts of all kinds and to suit all tastes, as well as a multitude of other activities that you can discover by studying at Montreux.

In order to help you make the most of these leisure activities, ESL has an enormous amount of information on everything that’s available in the area, and they are always on hand to help make bookings or with membership applications during your stay at the school (e.g. for a health club).
