Program Overview:

Academia
Latinoamericana-Bolivia is located in the heart of Sucre,
just a few blocks away from the city center. Due to its central
location, students are close to virtually everything of interest
within the city. Academia Latinoamericana-Bolivia resides
in a beautiful two story colonial building which has seven
classrooms, a kitchen, a salon (for videos, etc.) 2 terraces,
one indoor patio and a small swimming pool. Classes are held
in the mornings, which leave the afternoons free for cultural
activities, or half day excursions.
Academia Latinoamericana-Bolivia
offers an extensive variety of programs to prospective students.
The standard program consists of small group instruction.
The school also offers a variety of other programs including
private classes designed to fit the needs of any individual.
The variety of programs offered allows students to "tailor"
their immersion experience.
Besides
offering excellent Spanish language programs, Academia Latinoamericana
- Bolivia also offers (and or assists in arranging) a variety
of interesting cultural activities and weekend excursions
allowing student the chance to really get to know Sucre and
the rest of Bolivia. Some of the more popular activities include
Salsa dance lessons, visits to the colonial center of Sucre,
or trips to some of the surrounding towns.

Group 4: Study Spanish
for 4 lessons per day (4 students max per group). All classes
will be in groups with a maximum 4 students per class, 20
lessons per week. Students will have highly structured grammar
lessons, interactive activities, conversation and written
exercises. Specific homework assignments are given daily
and every student is evaluated and tested on a weekly basis.
Combined 6: Study
Spanish 6 lessons per day (4 lessons per day in the small
group setting, and 2 lessons per day of private classes).
The morning section is identical to the Standard Group Program.
However in the afternoon the student will receive an additional
2 lessons of individual instruction. This is an ideal program
for individuals who require specialized instruction, or
just want something more intensive.
Individual Language Training:
This option is perfect for those who want something very
intensive, or who need specialized instruction. The Individual
Course uses the same methodology as the Group program. You
have the choice of studying either 4 or 6 lessons per day.

currently will need to go to a cyber-cafe for normal email
usage.

Start
Dates: Classes start EVERY MONDAY
throughout the year. The only exception to this occurs when
a holiday falls on a Monday.
Note:
The school is closed for the last 2 weeks of the year and
reopens on the first Monday in January.
