Córdoba
Córdoba is an extremely
beautiful city full of culture and relics of the moorish empire.
It was once the capital of the Al-Andalus region conquered by the
muslims. Several mosques from that era still exist including the
8th-century mosque with painted columns and arches that is so magnificent
that it was preserved by the christian rulers that later took over.
Cordoba's old quarter is a maze of narrow streets with white buildings,
balconies and patios full of beautiful flowers and several historic
buildings.
Granada
Granada is a large university
town, with quaint little homes, shops, bars, and restaurants. The
architecture of Granada has preserved the legacy of the muslim occupation
in Spain. There are plenty of activities like flamenco, music, art,
and the theater. It is definitely well worth a visit.
The area surrounding Granada also offers many interesting
options. The snow covered peaks of the Sierra Nevada and the inviting
and sunny beaches of the Costa del Sol are favorite destinations
for tourists.
Madrid
Madrid
the capital city of Spain. It is centrally located and easily accessible
for most major cities. Madrid is a cosmopolitan city offering world-class
museums, architecture and a great night life. All roads converge
to the Plaza del Sol a central square from here you can start your
tour. Parque del Buen Retiro and Museo del Prado should not be missed.
It would take several days to experience all that Madrid has to
offer so if you have limited time make sure you plan your trip in
advance.
Málaga
Malaga is located in the Southern
Province of Andalucia. East of the port of Cadiz and west of the
quiet Spanish town of Nerja. It is a popular vacation resort for
locals as well as foreigners and it is an important commercial seaports
in southern Spain. With its cathedrals, castles and churches the
city is dominated by tourism and is an important commercial and
cultural center in Southern Spain.
Nerja
Nerja is a small town located at the foothills
of the Sierra Nevada. The spectacular climate and abundance of fresh
mountain water makes it a lush with trees and colorful flowers all
year round. It is one of Spain's richest farming regions producing
several varieties of tropical vegetables and fruit. Explore this
Mediterranean town with its olive groves, avocado trees, strawberries
plantations and the greatest variety of exotic plants. The town
is not a tourist destination and hence it is calm and peaceful where
you can just relax in the sun.
