Food
Seville's typical dishes are
delicious and relatively simple to prepare based on family recipes.
Gazpacho, is a cold soup with tomato, cucumber,
paprika, garlic, olive-oil, vinegar and bread, Pinchos Morunos is
spicy meat, Pescaito frito and Pavías de Pescado are fish
fried in olive-oil, Huevos a la Flamenca are fried eggs served with
spicy Spanish sausage and mayonnaise or Sauce. stuffed artichoke
is also very popular.
Drinks usually consist of the
many local wines, sherry, Manzanilla and Montilla.
Popular desserts include Cortadillos de Cidra,
Torrijas and Llemas de San Leandro which are candied egg yolks,
crumbles, tortes, sponge cake, sweet Bread Fritters, Pestiños
and Gañotes all home made.
