Sevilla
Seville is the capital of the region of Andalusia.
It is one of the most historical and commercially important cities
in Spain. Seville is a busy yet relaxing and charming city, with
its small balconies overflowing with geraniums,
countless historic buildings, narrow streets, small plazas,
beautiful parks, and gardens is a great place to explore and absorb
the culture and language. Bullfights, street musicians and Flamenco
dances are daily celebrations. Sevilla combines the wealth of history
and culture with its modern business facilities and shopping centers.
Sierra Nevada
The Veleta peak, in the vicinity of the Mulhacen
peak about 25 miles from Granada, are the highest peak in the Iberian
peninsula. The view from there covers the whole southern slope of
the sierra and the region of Las Alpujarras. In the winter skiing
and any snow sport is the main attraction followed by hiking, parasailing,
and jeep tours in the summer months. In the winter skiing, snow
boarding and other winter sports are the main tourist attraction
and in summer hiking, parasailing, and jeep tours are very popular.
Granada
Granada city is the capital of the province called
Granada situated in the eastern part of Andalusia. Granada is located
at the foot of the sierra Nevada mountains, at the crossroads of
the Darro and Genil rivers. The region is very diverse featuring
warm climate along the coastal areas and much cooler climate in
the mountainous regions.
