Gazpacho is a spicy soup served chilled, made with raw vegetables like tomato, onion, and peppers. Another regional specialty is bull's tail called "Rabo de Toro a la Rondeña".

The sweets and desserts are prepared with almonds and honey. Christmas-cakes, Alfajores, Polvorones and Bienmesabe are other delicious desserts. Tapas bars are omnipresent where you can sample many different dishes. For travelers there are several restaurants serving all kinds of cuisines including Italian, Chinese and American.
