How
many classrooms does Elemadrid have?
In Serrano 4 they have 6 classrooms but they also use another building
only 50m away with another 3 classrooms.
How
many computers are for student use? How many with Internet access?
There are 3 workstations at the students' disposal. All computers
have MS Office, a network printer and free Internet access.

Is
there a lounge area? Commons area?
Elemadrid has a commons area/cafeteria of about 60 square meters.
With newspapers, journals, TV and Radio, a vending machine for cold
drinks (water, coca cola etc.: 125-150 ptas.) and a machine for
hot drinks (coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, tea: 75 ptas.). Students
don't need coins and can rent a chip card at the administration.
Are
there facilities for handicapped people?
The school is not specially designed for handicapped people.
Is
there air-conditioning in the summer in all the classrooms?
All rooms are air-conditioned.
Is
there a public telephone for student use? What is the fee?
At the moment the school doesn't have a public phone. But there
are several telephone boxes nearby.
What
sort of equipment do the teachers use to help teach? Do they use
overhead projectors, VCR and TV, maps, pictures and visual aids?
The school uses all of the above plus computers/CD-ROMs, cassettes
+ CD's, posters, games, newspapers/journals, video-camera, telephones.
Is
there a library?
The school has a selection of books in different languages and on
different topics. They are only for internal use at the school.
In addition there are videos and CD-ROMs (also many Spanish language
programs).
