Host Family

Accommodation in a host family allows you to get the maximum out of your course. Be more in touch with everyday life in Spain. Available are single bedrooms with private or shared bathroom. Services include: breakfast daily and dinner from Monday to Friday; cleaning; one load of washing a week; ironing facilities; and telephone for incoming calls only. Bed linen and towels provided. Kitchen access and guests may not be allowed. No air-conditioning.

Nowhere else will you directly experience real Spanish life and nothing could be better to help improve your language skills. However the word 'family' should not be taken too literally, because your family could also be a single parent who takes in students because he or she enjoys the company. Sometimes there is also a Spanish student living with the family.

It is obvious that you will have to adjust a little to the rules of the house. Remember too, that Spanish people have different eating habits. Apart from that, you are free to do what you want. You will be given your own keys, so you can come and go as you please. You will be able to receive phone calls from within the home.

Elemadrid offers two different apartment options. The apartment that is best suited for you will depend on what would make you feel more comfortable.

Alegre Apartment

Highly recommended - Modern, spacious studios for 1-2 persons (40-50m2), located in a very lively zone in the center of Madrid, close to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Santa Ana. Individual air-conditioning/heating. Satellite-TV. Kitchenette with basic cooking equipment. Daily reception and cleaning service included.

Amable Apartment

NEW ! Charming and very quiet studio-apartment for 2-3 persons in the very center of Madrid, 300m from Plaza Mayor and 12 walkintg minutes from school. Big sleeping room, small kitchen and fully equipped bathroom. Swimming pool during summer. Book early !
