AZ Granada is situated
in a comfortable building which is located in the heart of
Granada. The school is light and airy, with lot of windows
and balconies overlooking the street. Each of the classrooms
has video, dvd and TV. The school also provided internet access,
a nice break area, and an overall personalized feel to it.
The school is comfortable during both the summers and winters
(a/c and heating).
Just like our other
partner schools in Spain, AZ Granada is equipped with modern
teaching aids such as computers and audiovisual equipment.
The recreation room is based on the lower level. Here, you
can watch TV or a video, listen music, read books or newspapers,
play board games or darts, etc.
The school resides
in a safe and quiet are in the city center. Its location is
at stone's throw from the Cathedral and within walking distance
of the Alhambra, El Albaicín and the Conference Center. Buses
depart not far from the school almost every hour in the direction
of the Sierra Nevada or the Mediterranean.
AZ Granada today

This reputation has helped to bring students from all over
the world to study Spanish in Granada.
The
lessons at AZ Granada are lively and varied. The emphasis
is on conversation but, of course, the school also pays attention
to grammar, reading, listening and writing. In the classes,
the school makes use of overhead projectors, video and other
audiovisual materials. To ensure that the lessons are as practical
as possible, you will work with newspaper articles and learn
how to conduct a telephone conversation in Spanish for example.
Films and documentaries will also be viewed, songs will be
listened to and menus read. In addition, you will give talks
and take part in role-play situations.
Besides offering
excellent Spanish language programs, AZ Granada also offers
(and or assists in arranging) a variety of interesting cultural
activities and weekend excursions allowing student the chance
to really get to know Spain.
As with many of our
other schools, AZ Granada not only provides general Spanish
language study, but can also provide specialized programs
for business people, lawyers, teachers, etc. Specialized courses
