Madrid
Madrid the capital city
of Spain. It is centrally located and easily accessible for most
major cities. Madrid is a cosmopolitan city offering world-class
museums, architecture and a great night life. All roads converge
to the Plaza del Sol a central square from here you can start your
tour. Parque del Buen Retiro and Museo del Prado should not be missed.
It would take several days to experience all that Madrid has to
offer so if you have limited time make sure you plan your trip in
advance.
Andorra
Bordering France and Spain
is the tiny mountainous region of Andorra. It makes for a perfect
holiday with its ski slopes with lots of snow, scenic hilly slopes
for hiking, duty-free shopping, world class spas, museums and summer
festivals.
Summer
is a perfect time to explore the Andorran mountains and indulge
in a host of out door activities like fishing in the lakes, rock
climbing in the mountains, trekking, mountain bike riding, horse
riding and white water rafting.
In winter Andorra becomes
a ski lovers paradise. Thick snow and modern skiing facilities and
equipment attract tourists from all over the world. Apart from skiing
most other forms of snow sports are also available. Motor sledging,
snow boarding, and sled-dog racing are a few.
Andorra's
shopping is world famous for its duty
free, privileged tax system, competitive
prices and great customer service. Jewelry, optical goods, sports
gear, perfumes, electronic goods, models, foodstuffs and high quality
clothing are all available here.
Balearic Islands
Ibiza and the other Balearic
islands are considered to be the party region of the European continent.
It has a tremendous night life with innumerable number of clubs
playing all kinds of music including techno, trance, metal and rock.
It is also a popular gay destination. These islands are accessible
from mainland spain via flight or ferry.
