Program Overview: Soléxico

Soléxico Language and Cultural Centers provide students with the best opportunity to learn Spanish in a short period of time while being immersed in the Mexican culture. The dedicated staff of professional language teachers, combined with effective teaching methods, helps maximize the student’s learning capabilities. Solexico currently has two locations in Mexico. The first school is located in Playa del Carmen and was founded a little over five years ago. The school in Oaxaca was established about a year ago. Together these schools have earned an excellent reputation as top Spanish language school.

A nice feature offered by Solexico to its students is the opportunity to take classes at either of its two facilities (Solexico Playa del Carmen and Solexico Oaxaca). Please see the link for Playa del Carmen to find out more about the other location. For instance, you can take classes in Oaxaca for two weeks, and then study in Playa del Carmen for two more. Program options are the same at every location. Note: Pricing is different at each location.

From top to bottom, this is a quality organization. Its facilities are among the best found in this region of Mexico, and to match this, the school has excellent instructors and uses well organized materials for Spanish language instruction. This combination of excellent facilities and great teachers allows students learn Spanish in a short period of time while also being immersed in the Mexican culture.

Soléxico is located in the heart of Oaxaca's Historical Center, two blocks from the beautiful Santo Domingo ex-convent and 4 blocks from Oaxaca's "Zocalo" (downtown square). Due to the school's location, students are surrounded by a number of cafes, art galleries, museums, shops and Internet cafes. The school is set in a typical colonial building with a large main patio where students get together during the breaks. This old style construction with thick colonial walls keeps the classrooms cool throughout the year. The building is built in the typical colonial style so common in this part of Mexico. This style of architecture creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that encourages intensive learning.

In addition to the excellent programs, beautiful setting and professional staff, Solexico offers a language lab to assist with the students´ communication skills. There is an on-campus library stocked with books on grammar, the local culture, religion and travel in Mexico, and many other publications relating to Mexico.

Besides offering excellent Spanish language programs, Solexico also offers (and or assists in arranging) a variety of interesting cultural activities and weekend excursions allowing student the chance to really get to know this part of Mexico.

As with many of our other schools, Solexico not only provides general Spanish language study, but can also provide specialized language instruction.
