Simon Bolivar: Program Overview
Simon Bolivar was founded approximately 7
years ago, and today is considered one of the best schools
in South America. Recognized by the Ministry of Education,
Simon Bolivar offers excellent Spanish language programs for
beginner to advanced level Spanish students. Located centrally
and in one of the nicer parts of Quito, students have easy
access to hundreds of bars, restaurants, shops, banks, cyber
cafes, and transportation. The school itself is located in
a very nice colonial style building which provides a comfortable
setting in which to learn Spanish.
Simon Bolivar provides quality one-to-one
immersions programs for students of any age and level of Spanish
proficiency. The classrooms are clean and quiet, and students
typically enjoy the comfortable courtyards outside as a place
to both study and/or meet with each other during coffee breaks.
In
addition to the Spanish language programs offered in Quito,
Simon Bolivar also offers classes in two extraordinary places
in Ecuador: Alandaluz on the tropical coast of Ecuador, and
the Yarina Lodge in the Coco Region of the Ecuadorian Amazon
Basin. These programs each run one week and are in group class
format. Each of the two areas are located in or near spectacular
national preserves offering students the chance to experience
nature at its finest. In addition to classes in these two
distinctive areas students spend part of the day exploring
the area and discovering the treasures within with the help
of an experienced local guide. Contact us for more information
about these options.
Besides offering excellent Spanish language
programs, Simon Bolivar also offers (and or assists in arranging)
a variety of interesting cultural activities and weekend excursions
allowing student the chance to really get to know Quito and
the rest of Ecuador. Some of the more popular activities include
Salsa dance lessons, visits to the colonial center of Quito,
or trips into the Andes.
As with many of our other schools, Simon
Bolivar not only provides general Spanish language study,
but can also provide specialized programs for business people,
medical personnel, teachers, lawyers, etc. |
