Los
Inmigrantes: Visit of the key sites on the historical
migration movement that took place in Valparaiso
Vistalmar:
Visit to the Naval and Maritime Museum, and Paseo 21 de Mayo,
including a boat trip through the harbor.
Poetas
y Pintores: Visit to the La Sebastiana Museum, the house
of Chilean poet Pablo Neruna. Also a visit to the Open Sky Museum
which shows the paintings made by the Students of the Arts on
the walls of a traditional street in Valparaiso.
Algarrobo:
A trip to a very popular resort town, next to the Natural Reserve
of Penon de Pena Blanca where there still exist some Humboldt
penguins.
Isla
Negra: Another beautiful and peaceful resort town where
Pablo Neruda had one of his “peculiar” residences.
National
Stadium: Students attend a soccer match between two of
the most popular teams in Chile. This match is called a “clasico”
due to the rival between the teams.
Valle Nevado o Portillo: A trip to two of the most popular ski
areas in the region.
La Serena:
A resort town that is located to the north of Valparaiso. Students
have an opportunity to enjoy the beaches and participate in
a variety of water sports. This trip also includes a visit to
the Valle de Elqui which is famous around the world for the
landscape, mystic atmosphere, and the Pisco.
