Trimester Modules

A trimester at Veritas consists of 12 weeks and is an excellent option for students wanting to learn Spanish while taking an elective. During the 12-week term, you will be enrolled in the 4-week Spanish language modules (for a total of 3 modules).

In addition to earning Spanish credits that can be transferred back to your home institution, you can also take elective courses taught in English with other international students such as Humanities, Environmental Sciences, General Business and Management, Ethnic Studies, Philosophy and Photography.

There are also other elective courses that are open for enrollment which are taught in Spanish and include Costa Rican and Latin-American Literature, Philosophy, and Humanities.

During the trimester students may enroll in a maximum of five courses (ie. the Spanish modules plus 2 electives). Prices listed for Trimester Modules include 3 Spanish courses and 1 elective. If you opt to take 1 more elective the additional cost will be $650.

Total Credits: 16-28 quarter units or 12-15 semester hours
Contact Hours: 240-320
