Language Modules are four week intensive Spanish language courses designed to facilitate the acquisition of vocabulary and grammatical structures. Each completed module represents one semester of college level Spanish. Theoretically you can complete up to 3 semesters of Spanish in twelve weeks (by taking 3 consecutive 4 week modules). There are a maximum of 10 students per class. You will be able to directly apply what you learn in the language module to your daily life in Costa Rica at restaurants, hotels, formal and informal interviews, etc.

Total Credits: 8 quarter units or 5 semester hours per 4 week session

Language Requirements: Open to all levels of Spanish.
Notes: These classes can be taken prior to participating in a Trimester program, taken after participating in a Trimester program, or taken individually according to your schedule.
