University of Salamanca:
Program Overview

The international courses at the University of Salamanca are located in two buildings centrally located in the heart of the beautiful Plateresque city center. The patio de Escuelas, where beginner students conduct class, is directly opposite the famous University of Salamanca façade and statue of one of its most famous professors Frey Luis de Leon. The golden color of the stone used in the construction of the Plateresque style of architecture is considered the best in Spain. This is where students will meet on the first day to take the placement test and conduct class. The patio is just a short 5-minute walk from the Plaza Mayor, the heart of Salamanca social life. In addition to classrooms the administration offices are also located next door within the beautiful Patio de Escuelas Menores.

Intermediate and advanced students will take classes at the Palacio de San Boal with remodeled classrooms a reception, theater, courtyard, and tapas/cafeteria bar all located by a 10-minute walk from the opposite side of the plaza. The facilities are very modern and all classrooms are equipped with the latest in visual teaching aides.
