Program Overview: Lacunza

Lacunza - San Sebastian, SpainLacunza is located in the heart of the historic center of San Sebastián. Nearby you will find the cathedral, the pedestrian walking area, numerous shops, restaurants, bars, and of course the beautiful city beach just 5 minutes away by foot. The school was founded in 1980's, and today has established a reputation as an excellent school. In 1998 the school became a part of the prestigious world wide organization known as International House. Today students enjoy the quality of professionalism and the friendly service the school offers. In addition, the school has recently moved into a newly built building, and as such, Lacunza has some of the nicest facilities you will find anywhere in Spain. Besides well designed classrooms, students will have access to a small library, a multimedia room, and a comfortable break area. If you want to study Spanish in a unique location and at a great Spanish language school, Lacunza is an excellent choice.

The lessons at the Lacunza are lively and varied. Conscious of the effort and investment required to learn a language, Lacunza offers carefully designed courses which aim at increasing your capacity to communicate in Spanish as quickly and efficiently as possible, while at the same time ensuring that your learning of the language is a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The quality of Lacunza's courses is based on a professional team of teachers with a common methodology. In the classroom setting students are exposed to 2 different teachers throughout the day.

Students discussing in classAs well as enjoying the beauty, distinctive character and liveliness which San Sebastian has to offer, you will have the opportunity to take part in a varied cultural activity program which also includes different full day and weekend excursions. Participating in these various activities will be a great way in which to add to your learning experience in Spain.

As with many of our other schools, Lacunza not only provides general Spanish language study, but can also provide specialized programs for business people, lawyers, teachers, etc. Specialized courses are offered under a private instruction format.
