Standard Portuguese Language Program: Portuguese instruction in a group setting. You will receive 4 lessons each day (Monday to Friday) in classes that have a maximum of 4 individuals. This is the most popular Portuguese program offered by the Portuguese language school in Rio de Janeiro. On the first day of your language program you be tested to determine your level of Portuguese proficiency and then placed into the appropriate course level.

Combined Portuguese Language Program: This is a more intensive Portuguese language course. This program combines the Standard Portuguese Language Program with 2 additional lessons per day of private language instruction. The private portion of your Portuguese program can be used to review topics covered in the morning or can be used to cover topics of interest to you. You can customize the private portion of your Portuguese language program to fit your particular needs.

Individual Portuguese Language Training: This is a popular Portuguese language program for individuals who have limited time to spend in Rio de Janeiro or simply prefer to study an learn Portuguese in a private class. The advantage of private instruction is that: You learn at your own pace, not that of the slowest student in your group class. You can choose the number of lessons you want to study per day. As the only student, you’ll be speaking more in Portuguese and consequently learning faster.

Executive Portuguese Program: If you want instant results, this is the Portuguese language course for you. The Executive Portuguese Program at AZ Rio consist of 8 lessons per day of private Portuguese instruction. The Portuguese course itself will be customized to fit your needs. During the day a team of 4 Portuguese language instructors will keep you immersed (thinking and speaking) in Portuguese. Your instructors meet every other day to assess your progress and fine-tune your curriculum as needed.
