Program Overview: AZ Hamburg

Established in 1952, over the years, the German Language School has developed into one of the leading language schools in Germany. Centrally located in Hamburg in a quiet pedestrian zone students are close to most points of interest within Hamburg. Additionally the location of the school is close to some excellent public transportation. A rather large school, the German School in Hamburg has over 70 classrooms and approximately 55 well qualified teachers, all of them university graduates, most of whom who have had years of experience.

At any given time, around 500 students from all over the world are enrolled in the German courses, with virtually all nationalities being represented (note: many of those students are Germans taking English classes. Having German students around allows people taking German classes plenty of opportunity to meet and speak with local Germans!).

The facilities are excellent and are perfectly designed for language learning. In addition the school has a library and a cafeteria for the students.
