Shanghai: Old Street
Today the Shanghai Old Street is divided into an eastern and western section. The eastern portion of the road has building and structures that are reminiscent of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republican days of China. The western portion of the road has buildings and structures that are typical of both Ming and mid Qing Dynasty styles. Throughout the road you will find various shops, restaurants, bars and other curiosities. If you are in Shanghai take some time to explore Shanghai Old Street.

In
Shanghai an interesting place to visit is the Shanghai Old Street
(Fanband Road). This road is immediately adjacent to the Yuyuan
Bazaar and runs from Zhonghua Road to Henan Road. Each end of the
Shanghai Old Street is indicated by highly decorated archways.
