you want to visit one of the most important business and tourist
destinations in Shanghai, then a stop at Nanjing Road is in order.
Nanjing Road runs from the Jingan Temple up to the Huangpu River
for a total of 3 miles. This road passes through the center of Shanghai
and some of its busiest markets.
Each day more than a million people pass through
Nanjing Road. On both sides of the road you will find department
stores, shopping center, great restaurants, and recreational and
cultural centers. The area is also full of outdoor bars, interesting
sculptures and other art, street musicians and plenty of flashing
neon signs.
