Beijing is one of the largest
transportation hubs in China. This means that you will find numerous
flights into Beijing from virtually anywhere in the world. Furthermore
the city has rail, plane and bus links to various points of interest
throughout China.
Beijing
Capital International Airport
This is one of the 5 major international airports in China. Over
200 international and domestic carriers fly in and out of this airport
on a regular basis. Flights arrive in Beijing from virtually everywhere
in the world. Additionally from Beijing you can get flights into
the major cities of every province and autonomous region within
China. The airport is located about 16 miles northeast of the city
center. Shuttle services, taxis and buses are readily available
for arriving passengers.
NanYuan Airport
This is a relatively small and new airport located in a southern
part of Beijing. Currently the main flights out of this airport
are operated by China United. This airport is convenient for catching
flights into Harbin, Wuxi and Dalain.
By Train
The main rail station in the city is the Beijing West Rail Station.
It is said by some to be the railway hub of the nation. From this
station you can get service to all the neighboring cities and the
vast majority of the provincial capitals. In Beijing there are a
total of 6 railway stations. Depending on where you are going, you
would use one station over another. Check with our Chinese language

By Bus
Beijing has the largest junction of road systems in China. This
means you can catch a bus to virtually anywhere you need to go in
China. Currently there are 19 major bus stations in and around Beijing.
