The Beginners' Course

Learn to communicate in simple Brazilian Portuguese. Students can register for 2 to 12 weeks.

The Basic Course

With this course, you will complete the second half of the Beginners' course and then move to the Advanced course. You must have a knowledge of verb conjugations, the simple future, question forms, negatives, numbers and the main prepositions. Students can register for 2 to 10 weeks.

The Intermediate Course

Diálogo assumes a knowledge of grammar including present continuous, past participles, present and imperfect of the irregular verbs, the use of prepositions, interrogatives, possessive adjectives and pronouns and demonstrative pronouns. This knowledge is reinforced and brought into practical use by the study of both written and spoken Brazilian Portuguese (newspapers, literature, conversations, discussions, etc.). Students can register for 2 to 8 weeks.

The Advanced Course

Students should already speak Portuguese and know the basic grammatical elements. These grammatical elements will be reinforced during their stay at Diálogo. Students can register for 2 to 6 weeks.
