Cooking classes are a popular course offered by the Portuguese language school in Salvador (Brazil). Each week at the Portuguese language school students get to choose a dish to prepare. Working with a teacher they will then get to prepare the food, cook it, and then taste the delicious dish. These classes are highly recommended and are very popular.

The program consists of:

2 cooking classes per week.
Classes run from 3-5pm
The cooking classes include ingredients, teaching materials, a recipe booklet, and an overview of the history and tradition of Brazilian cuisine.
All cooking classes are instructed by a teacher from the Portuguese language school. Occasionally a local chef will be brought in.
For a cooking class to be offered there MUST BE at least 3 students interested.
