Program Overview: AZ
Berlin
The
German language school in Berlin was founded in 1983 and
today is one of the leading institutions teaching German
as a foreign language in Germany. AZ Berlin is recognized
as a school for continuing education by the Berlin Senate
and is a member of the International Association of Language
Centres IALC and IQ Deutsch. Both associations submit their
members to regular quality control. The German language
school is also accredited by various US universities and
by the Swedish government who grants scholarships for the
German language programs. In addition to teaching German
to individual students, the German school also offers intensive
language training for a number of national and multinational
companies in and around Berlin. Among the companies that
study with our German school in Berlin are Bosch-Siemens,
Lufthansa-Service-Gesellschaft, Bankgesellschaft Berlin
and Deutsche Welle TV.
The school is open all year
round for students and professionals aged 16 and older. The
Geman school has two floors with bright classrooms in a recently
restored commercial building in the Berlin district of Schoeneberg.
Marlene Dietrich lived in a house across the street and till
today Schoeneberg is one of the capital´s most popular
districts. The school has space for approximately 70 students
per month. Students that want to learn German in Berlin come
in from all over the world.
The
German school in Berlin offers German courses all year round
for students of every level. All courses are complemented
by after-class activities in and around Berlin. The school
can arrange for anything from excursions to various types
of accommodation.
The German language immersion
school uses a communicative approach and from the first day
of classes German is the only language spoken in class. A
placement test assesses your level of German. Regular exams
allow you to monitor your progress. Courses finish with a
language certificate describing your level of German in detail.
Berlin
is Germany´s most exciting city and our German school
in Berlin helps you to explore it: All German courses at the
language school are completed by an activity program guided
by school staff. Activities take place in the afternoons,
evenings and at weekends several times a week - a good opportunity
to socialize and share impressions with other students from
all around the world. All guides have been trained by the
language school and as real "Berliners" they not
only know all the tourist attractions, but will also show
you hidden parts and corners, tourists hardly ever get to
see. You are guided at no extra cost, except entrance fees
and ticket for public transport. Your student card entitles
you to special reductions on all means of public transport,
some cinemas, museums and expositions. |
