Alameda Spanish Academy: Alameda Spanish Academy is a well run small school located in Antigua, about 5 minutes away (walking) from the city center. It is located in a nice colonial building complete with relaxing inner courtyard. Though a relatively new school, Alameda Spanish Academy is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the best schools in Guatemala. Alameda Spanish Academy is also endorsed by both the Ministerio de Educación de Guatemala and the Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo. Academia de Español Sevilla: Academia de Español Sevilla is located in two beautiful colonial buildings located in the heart of Antigua. The school was founded over 9 years ago, and today has a reputation as one of the best schools in Antigua. Besides offering accommodations with local host families, this school also has two student residences. Academia de Español Sevilla is also endorsed by both the Miniterio de Educación de Guatemala and the Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo.
