The Spanish summer camp in Sevilla is located in the city center on a few minutes walking distance from all sites of interest including the Cathedral and Royal Palaces. This key locations offers high school students the ability to see the major landmarks without going to great efforts to find them. The Spanish school building was fully remodeled a few years back and is complete with Roman columns, large terraces, and a sunny interior patio. The Spanish school was organized with teaching in mind. The school building is compompsed of 24 classes, library, study area, meeting room, Spanish language book store, computer room. The high school students will also be happy to know that the building is air-conditioned during Sevilla's hot summer months.

The high school Spanish program is lively and varied. All of the Spanish classes are seperated into differentiated segments: the first portion focuses on the Spanish language itself including structure and communicative functions. The second portion focus on cultural themes in order to develop all the abilities or skills integrally: aural understanding, oral expression, aural understanding, writing and reading comprehension. The Spanish classes do not increase in a rapid straight line, but in a more global in-depth fashion.

The high school Spanish program in Sevilla is a great way for teens to learn Spanish in the summer. The Spanish summer Camp in Sevilla is open to all high school students who are 14 to 17 years old. The Spanish program includes 4 Spanish lessons per day, a mix of social and cultural activities, including festivals, films, and guided visits to cultural spots of interest.

The high school student Spanish class schedule is from 9:30AM to 1:00PM . High school students will receive the same intensive format that is prested to adults, but in a presentation that better caters to the interests of teens.

Spanish Summer Camp Accommodations

All high school students will stay with a local Spanish host family and will receive all three meals each. The Spanish school in Sevilla has specially selected host families for high school students. These families are within walking distance from the school and are experienced with the unique needs of teenagers.

The Spanish summer camp is available from June 25- July 27.

Camp Arrival in Sevilla

The summer camp offers airport pickup service from the Sevilla airport. Students will be required to provide their flight information at least two weeks prior to their arrival to ensure that the airport pickup is properly scheduled.

High School Student Supervision

The program in Sevilla provides a moderate amount of supervision for students. There will be times when the high school students will NOT be supervised by camp directors. Spanish students that are enrolled in the Spain Spanish summer camp are expected to be at the highest maturity level for their age group. Teens that do not abide by the set rules for minors will be expelled from the camp. High school students will live with a local host families which provides a moderate amount of supervision.

18:15 Orientation to Sevilla. High school students will go on a guided walk of the city with teacher who will show them the major sites and give a brief discription of their significance. The Spanish teacher will alsopointout the most appropriate route to/from the Spanish camp and host family.
