French Summer Camp

The French school that
hosts the summer camp for teens in Montreal, Canada has been in
existence since the early 60's and has been providing high school
students from around the world with a complete French immersion

The French summer camp is

to public transit and a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
The classrooms are brightly
lit and spacious. The extensive French student resource center
is a multi-media facility. It contains computers, French audio
materials, and a reading room. High school French students can
take advantage of the Student Resource Centre for independent
or guided study.
The French language school
takes pride in being large enough to have full-time staff dedicated
to each service area yet small enough to know their teen French
students on a first-name basis.

a unique experience. This particular French camp is world class
and Montreal provides a safe living environment as well as a large
city for extensive activities during the teen's camp stay. The

French Camp Overview
The Montreal French summer camp
offers an effective small-group French course combined with an adventure
in Canadian culture and lifestyle. In July - August the French language
school hosts teens from ages 14 to 17 from diverse areas of the
globe.
Teen French courses are offered
in French in small groups. The teen French program allows the student
to learn French in Canada through an entertaining and meaningful
context. Speaking the language and listening take priority.
French summer camp activities
are chosen to ensure that the high school students are offered a
balance of sports with a variety of interesting cultural outings.
The French language school teen monitors ensure that our young clients
are well-supervised during activities.
High school French students stay
with a local host family. Special care is taken in selecting a Canadian
host family who have an active interest in teens and who create
a welcoming home..

Teen French Courses in Montreal
All teens attending the French
summer camp in Montreal will receive 3 lessons of French clas in
the mornings. The French program coordinator is available during
the lessons to provide a link between the summer campus and the
school office. High school students have French classes and lunch
on site. After all of the activities are over for the day, directors
at the camp will take students back to the school. The summer camp
director is at the school in the afternoon to welcome all teens
as the arrive at the school after the camp afternoon schedule. All
teens attending the French summer camp will have internet access.
High school Students will have
a little over one hour each day of free time to chech their email
or explore the city with other students from the Montreal summer

Optional Summer Camp
Weekend Excursions
All
excursions outside Montreal are offered on an optional basis to
all high school students enrolled in the French summer camp. These
excursions are optional as they come at an additional cost. High
school students are also allowed to join the adult French students
for the optional evening activities as long as no alcohol is involved,
such as going to a night club to dance. All excursion prices are
subject to change. A tentative schedule is provided below to give
a general idea of the excursion program format and approximate pricing.
