| A prestigious
private boarding school located in the ¨Molino de la Hoz¨
area in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains west of Madrid,
is only 20 minutes from the capital. In times past this was
where Madrileños went to escape the summer heat. Still
much cooler in the summer than the city, this new suburb features
all the attractions of the residential/ country club zone
which it has become. On the way to El Escorial, the school
is adjacent to the private club of the areas residents and
has access to the semi-olympic pool, the terrace/café,
the billiard room and the gardens/sunbathing area of the club
from which students can enjoy a view of the beautiful lake
the community surrounds.
The principal building
includes the classrooms, dining room and a cafeteria, a video/TV
room, a small theatre and a ballroom. The sports facilities
include, a tennis court, 2 basketball courts, a handball court,
and 2 soccer fields.
