(Soccer)
There are three major soccer teams in Madrid and
they are Real Madrid, Atletico de Madrid, and
Rayo Vallecano. When Real Madrid and Atlético play
in the first division, the Spanish Soccer League normally ensures
that they play at home on alternate weekends. The majority of competitions
are played on Sunday, starting at 5 p.m. during the winter and 7
p.m. during the summer. Matches are often scheduled for Saturdays
to allow teams to prepare mid-week.
