The Standard Russian Group courses comprise 20 lessons per week in small groups with a maximum of eight students of the same level. The course follows a modular pattern of two-week units. For participants of four weeks or longer, the units that follow build upon grammar basics to unit One, treating the same subject matter from a different angle with different emphasis and examples, more complex vocabulary, exercises and more dialogues and role-play in class. The groups are formed according to an assessment test, which is compulsory for every participant.

One on one courses at the language program in St. Petersburg are individually designed for each customer and are targeted primarily at the corporate sector, executives, government officials, professionals, interpreters and future Russia/CIS representatives. The individual approach speeds up the learning process and focuses on the needs of the particular client without having to compromise on, or take into consideration, other students.

The exact content of the Russian language course will be jointly determined by the teacher and the student. The student is invited to specify the fields of interests he or she wants to cover by filling in our comprehensive needs analysis. This gives the Russian teacher a accurate idea of what the student wants to achieve and allows us to select material, establish a study plan and build in the specific vocabulary required.
