Our partner Portuguese language school utilizes
the communicative approach to teaching Portuguese to language students.
This teaching style is a very interactive teaching method the emphasizes
the learning of Portuguese by intensive practice. The focus of your
Portuguese program is of course on conversation, however grammar,
listening, and reading and writing are also covered.
One of the keys to successfully implementing this
program is the personalized attention that your Portuguese language
teacher will give to you. Personalized attention is guaranteed by
keeping the size of each group very small. This means that all students
have plenty of opportunity to interact with others and the Portuguese
language teacher.
You will find all the Portuguese lessons to very
lively and full of variety. All students are tested upon the first
day at the Portuguese language school and based upon the results
of the test, placed in an appropriate group.
