Las Palomas in La Cuenca

of Guanajuato. This place is blessed with natural beauty and
bio-diversity and is an ideal spot for hikers, campers, bikers
and bird watchers. The north eastern part of the state with
its beautiful hills and mountains make for excellent hiking
and mountain biking.
The botanical gardens of San Miguel de Allende
with its fantastic variety of cacti is one of the finest in
Mexico. An ideal place for naturalists. Another important
nature area is Sierra de Lobos. With its beautiful scenery
and calm serene lakes its a wonderful picnic and camping spot,
excellent for fishing and hiking.
