The city of Guadalajara
represents a unique perspective of Mexican culture and tradition.
The school has incorporated a few extras into their Spanish
language learning program. According to IMAC, Spanish language
immersion means really allowing yourself to experience and
enjoy the finest aspects of Mexican culture. For this reason,
the school has developed an intensive Spanish language program
that focuses on Spanish used in real life situations.
In order to enhance the
Spanish learning experience for the students, IMAC also provides
the following extra-curricular activities as an optional part
of your learning. You may choose the activities that are of
most interest to you. IMAC is currently offering the following
extra curricular activities as possible options:
Field
trip excursions to places such as the city of Tequila,
Jalisco, the birth-place of tequila. In addition, you have
the opportunity to visit the largest lake in Mexico, Lake
Chapala. These field trips are available year round for a
minimal fee of US$20. IMAC also offers free tours of Guadalajara
or Tlaquepaque.

to the world famous folkloric
ballet of the University of Guadalajara. Truly a must
see for culture lovers. Many of the most traditional dances
of Mexico are represented in the beautiful Degollado Theatre
U.S. $10.
While IMAC will make all
of the necessary arrangements for these activities, students
are asked to pay all fees directly to the service provider.
