Giacomo Puccini offers three main accommodations options:

Apartment Accommodations

You can choose between 2, 3 or 4 bedroom apartments which you share with other international students. It is ideal for those who enjoy contact with other students from different parts of the world. The school always does their best to accommodate you in a student flat with different nationalities. However, the common language typically becomes English. We suggest that you should reach an agreement with one another to speak as much Italian as possible.

The student flats are not very luxurious but they have all the basic facilities: a bed, table, chair and a wardrobe. Each student flat has a fully equipped kitchen. In student flats there are no telephones available. You can make your phone calls from one of the many public phones. You share the kitchen and the bathroom.

Please note: Tenants are responsible for the cleaning of their apartment. It is expected that the rental apartments be left clean and orderly.

Single or double rooms are available upon request. Sheets and blankets are included; bed linen is changed every 2 weeks. You only have to bring your own towels. All extra costs for electricity, water, gas, etc. are included in the fees for lodging.

All apartments are located a short distance from the school, shopping facilities and beaches.

Accommodation In A Host Family

Most of the host families have worked with us for many years.The host families are 10-20 minutes away from the school. The families know from experience what the role of a host is.

Living with a host family offers you the opportunity to become quickly into the Italian society. Nowhere else will you so directly experience real Italian life. The word 'family' should not be taken too literally, because your family could also be a single parent or a childless couple who take in students because they enjoy the company.

It is obvious that you will have to adjust a little to the rules of the house. Apart from that, you are free to do what you want. You will be given your own keys, so you can come and go as you please. Students in home-stays will be able to receive phone calls.

Hotel Accommodations

You can choose between a One-star-Hotel, Two-star-Hotel, or Three-star-Hotel. It is ideal for those who enjoy to be served breakfast in the morning and do not like to be responsible for the cleaning of their room.

One-star-Hotels are economical. Students will be staying in small Hotels in a friendly atmosphere. Accommodations always includes double room with wash-basin, bed & breakfast. Single room only on request. If you book Hotel accommodations, the school can also offer you half board facilities which includes breakfast in the Hotel and dinner in a nearby restaurant. The hotels are located within a walking distance from the school, shopping facilities and beaches.

Two-star-Hotels include double room with its own bathroom.

Three-star-Hotels include double room with its own bathroom, TV and telephone.
