Accommodation in Host Family:

The vast majority of host families have worked with the Italian language school in Rome for a number of years. In Rome you will find host families will be typically 25-50 minutes from the Italian language school by public transportation. You have the option to opt for either breakfast only or take breakfast and dinner daily. You can get your own private room or share it with another friend. Students are given keys which means they are free to come and go as they please.

Accommodation in a shared apartment:

You share a flat or floor of a house either with other students from our school, with other Italian students or with the owner. In selecting the apartments, we do not look for luxury and comfort in material sense, but the apartments are furnished with all essential utilities (bed, table, chair, wardrobe). Kitchen and bathroom are of common use.

In the fully equipped kitchen you can prepare your meals separately or together with your flatmate's and fellow students. Normally there is no telephone in the apartment. In any case, our schools can provide you with cell phone rental services.

You and your fellow-lodgers are expected to keep your apartment clean, although every two weeks an employee will clean the common areas.

Be aware that if you book apartment accommodation, you will most likely have to eat out the first evening as all supermarkets are closed on Sundays.

Accommodation in a private apartment:

Private apartments are more comfortable than shared apartments and therefore more expensive. They are available for one or more persons. Prices are available on request. Please note that the private apartments must be reserved well in advance and the prices may vary depending on the city and season.
