semester hours of Spanish credit though an arrangement with
the University of Southern Mississippi, a university accredited
with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
It is required that students
make all arrangements directly with USM prior to starting
their Spanish language program. Before departure students
must submit a transcript of their college work to USM which
reflects any prior Spanish study. USM will send you instructions
that must be followed exactly in order to receive credit.
You must also talk with the academic coordinator at the Spanish
language school you are studying at during the first week
of your program.
Grades are posted at the
end of December, May and August. Decisions regarding specific
course number, level and grade will be made by Dr. Rafael
Sánchez, Chairman of the Department of Foreign Languages at
USM.
Duration Of Course And Course Costs
For USM
The Spanish language program
you are enrolling in must consist of at least 20 hours per
week of classroom time. Taking more hours of class per week
will not reduce the time requirements needed to receive academic
credit.
Important: Participants
pay standard Spanish language program fees directly to A2Z
Languages. In addition, you will need to pay the following
fees directly to the University of Southern Mississippi. |

At any A2Z Languages
language school you may receive credit for Spanish 101,
102, and 103 through Seattle
Central Community College. Following the completion
of your program you have approx. 3 months to pass an examination
at an approved site within your area. There is no minimum
program length required, however, be realistic and give
yourself at least 3 weeks so that you can pass
the examination.
Students studying at
our CEPE Spanish language programs in either Guadalajara
or Puerto Vallarta (both in México) may receive
credit directly from the University of Guadalajara. Most
universities around the world accept credit directly from
the University of Guadalajara. Check with us at A2Z Languages.
for more details as it relates to academic credit provided
by this university.
