Program Overview:
Academia de Español Sevilla

Academia de EspanolAcademia de Español Sevilla is located in two beautiful colonial buildings located in the heart of Antigua. The school was founded over 9 years ago, and today has a reputation as one of the best schools in Antigua. The programs offered by this school are endorsed by both the Ministerio de Educación de Guatemala and the Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo, offers "Total Spanish Immersion Study". Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00-12:00 and 2:00-5:00, and students may start any Monday of the year.

The school offers a relaxed tranquil environment, with a choice of studying in either of the two centrally located buildings - both colonial style buildings with bougainvillea-filled gardens. Some students also enjoy walking in the park or strolling through town with their professors. A few have even been known to study over a beer in a local cantina!

ActivitiesBesides a great 4-6 hour per day intensive language program, Academia de Español Sevilla offers many different activities. These activities include volleyball, ping-pong, movie nights, happy hours, bike trips, cultural excursions in the school van, "round table" discussions, Latin dance classes, and, of course, many fiestas! Students also have free use of the schools cable T.V., and internet. Coffee, tea and purified water are available throughout the day.
