There are many choices of accommodations while you study. Although living with a local family can be a very rewarding cultural experience, there are other interesting options available to you.

FAMILY STAY: The traditional immersion approach. Private room, share bath, all meals (6 days/week).

You will be places with a wonderful Guatemalan family that has been personally selected by the Director for their warm hospitality and willingness to participate in the continuation of your Spanish studies. You will join the family for meals and at other times when you are included in family events. All homes are located near the Academy.

There will be other students in the home, sometimes as many as 5-7 other students in the home. You will have a private room, but will be required to share the common areas including the bathrooms with the other individuals in the home.

SEVILLA'S EXCLUSIVE STUDENT GUEST HOUSE: A popular accommodation among students. Includes a Private room, but the bath is shared. Meals can either be included or not.

The private guest houses are especially well-known for great food and lots of personal attention by your Ama de la Casa (special needs are accommodated whenever possible). Students enjoy many extra benefits: The "feel" of staying in your own home, your own keys, more privacy, lots of extra attention, and the opportunity to meet other students from around the world. Although students usually practice español when they meet with other students. You'll have the opportunity to brush up on German, Japanese, French, Russian, etc. Guest houses are located very close to the Academy and accommodate from 8 to 14 students. Student guest houses are available ONLY to students of the Academy.

ROOMS IN PRIVATE HOMES & HOTELS: We'll be pleased to assist you in selecting a hotel or room in a private home.

Academia de Español Sevilla is the only Spanish Academy in Antigua offering private guest houses.
