Münchner Kindl
An interesting parade that always includes the Mayor of Munich and
Governor of Bavaria. A young woman leads the parade on horseback
and the mayor and governor are right behind in a decorated horse
drawn carriage. Following immediately behind are more carriages,
decorated wagons, beer carts, and a variety of people wearing colorful
clothing.
Oktoberfest Folklore International
This began in 1835 on the silver anniversary of the marriage of
King Ludwig I and Theresa. The parade has people wearing national
costumes from the various regions. The event has been held annually
