This part of Paris is well known for its abundance of cozy little cafes, intimate bars where the local Parisians stop for a glass of wine, and interesting shops lining the streets. Within a 10 minute radius one can find both the Etoile and Trocadero. The French school was founded in 1976, and today has gained a reputation as an excellent French language school. This reputation has paid off and over the years the school has received over 50,000 students from 70 different countries.

In addition to the location in Paris, the French language school in Paris also operates a French school in Nice. Having two locations offers some great advantages for students studying in France. Students can study at both locations, receive the same quality instruction, and discover two very distinctive parts of France.

Students have the choice of a variety of quality general and specialized French language courses. The variety of options available allow students to "tailor" the French course to fit their particular needs. The emphasis of the various French courses is on conversation but also pays attention to grammar, reading, listening and writing. The French programs are structured but flexible, allowing the courses to be adapted to the students' level and pace.

Besides offering excellent French language programs, the French school in Paris also offers (and or assists in arranging) a variety of interesting cultural activities and weekend excursions allowing student the chance to really get to know France.

As with many of our other schools the school not only provides general French language study, but can also provide specialized programs for businesspeople, lawyers, teachers, etc. Specialized courses are offered under a private instruction format.

Program Options
 

Standard French Program: Group instruction, 4 lessons per day. Small, classes of 8 to 12 students allowing individual attention and the opportunity for you to actively participate during the lessons. Open to individuals of all levels.

Intensive French Program: Group instruction, 6 lessons per day. Small, classes of 8 to 12 students allowing individual attention and the opportunity for you to actively participate during the lessons. Open to individuals from beginner to intermediate levels. Perfect for those individual who don't have much time or who just need a more intensive language program.

Business French: (Paris, summer only) These courses are intended for advanced students interested in economic issues. It prepares for the Practical Certificate in Commercial and Economic French awarded by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The student may combine this course with a 3 lesson per day Standard Course in general French.
