Arriving by plane is just the first of many powerful experiences; The view spread before you is absolutely unique in the whole world! Situated on the Mediterranean sea, Nice is a town filled with flowers, as can been seen in the Place Massena, the famous flower market, the cours saleya, the Castle park or the Cimiez gardens with its roman arena.

The promenade des anglais, the baie des Anges, the Negresco, the Riviera… all magical names inviting you to discover the wonderful attractions of Nice and its region.

A few steps away from the sea you'll be enchanted by artistic views old town; an historic center surounded by a modern city. Here you can plunge into the animated atmosphere of the old streets so rich in history. At intervals the sun soaked terraces of numerous cafes and restaurants tempt you to taste the specialties of Nice's cuisine. The heart of Nice is warm and lively and it beats night and day to a party rhythm!

Throughout the week and on the weekends IH-Nice will offer a variety of cultural activities and excursions. Activities held at the school are included in the cost of the program. Trips outside of the school require that the student pay for his/her own transportation and other expenses. To enable you to discover NICE and the surrounding region, the school organizes activities once a week in the low season, twice a week in the high season (summer).

The activities organisers will take you to museums, the cinema, bowling, restaurants, discotheques or to discover the hinterland and the nearby places of interest (Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, the Lérins Islands…).

• The Principality of Monaco, the Prince's Palace, Oceanographic Museum and the Monte-Carlo casino.

• Saint-Tropez, the harbour, the beaches, the celebrities.
• Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the Rotschild villa Ephrussi.
