Tamarindo Beach
The Playa Tamarindo area is becoming one of the
most popular beaches in all of Costa Rica. The dry Guanacaste regions
where Tamarindo is located receives less rain than the rest of the
country. Each year the Spanish school in Tamarindo receives more
and more students as they learn about the shining white sand beaches
and clear blue ocean. Studying at a Costa Rica Spanish school on
the beach is a completely different experience than if you are learning
Spanish in a city location.
Many students are drawn for the surfing and really
enjoy the option to take both Spanish and Surf lessons right at
the beach. Our most active Spanish students are quite content with
the many activites that the beach and surrounding areas can offer
including kayaking, biking, horse back riding, scuba, snorkeling,
deep sea fishing, horseback riding, hiking, canopy tours and don't
forget surfing. The town of Tamarindo provides many activites in
itself. If you are not busy visiting the several art gallaries in
the area, you will find your self shopping for the beautiful artisan
crasts that the area is known for.
After your Spanish classes are over and you have
had your fun on the beach, don't think your adventure is over. You
will need to make sure you saved some engergy for the humming nightlife
of Tamarindo. This includes an array of restaurants, a casino, and
a disco club to practice thos salsa lessons you took at the Spanish
school. This is also always a great time to hone in on your developing
Spanish skills to chat with locals or fellow students. Bring comfortable
walking shoes and some good sandals, you will need them!
