Overview
Academic Credit is available
at any one of the programs offered through A2Z Languages. Students
who participate in programs offered by A2Z Languages have a variety
of places and options related to academic credit. Please Note:
Different Spanish language schools have different types of academic
credit available.
Options

Students participating in programs
at any of the above listed Spanish language schools may earn 3-12
undergraduate semester hours or 3-9 graduate semester hours of Spanish
credit though an arrangement with the University of Southern Mississippi,
a university accredited with the Southern Association of Colleges
and Schools.
It is required that students
make all arrangements directly with USM prior to starting their
Spanish language program. Before departure students must submit
a transcript of their college work to USM which reflects any prior
Spanish study. USM will send you instructions that must be followed
exactly in order to receive credit. You must also talk with the
academic coordinator at the Spanish language school you are studying
at during the first week of your program.
Grades are posted at the end
of December, May and August. Decisions regarding specific course
number, level and grade will be made by Dr. Rafael Sánchez, Chairman
of the Department of Foreign Languages at USM.
Duration Of Course And Course Costs For
USM
The Spanish language program
you are enrolling in must consist of at least 20 hours per week
of classroom time. Taking more hours of class per week will not
reduce the time requirements needed to receive academic credit.
Important: Participants
pay standard Spanish language program fees directly to A2Z Languages.
In addition, you will need to pay the following fees directly to
the University of Southern Mississippi.

At any A2Z Languages language
school you may receive credit for Spanish 101, 102, and 103 through
Seattle Central Community College.
Following the completion of your program you have approx. 3 months
to pass an examination at an approved site within your area. There
is no minimum program length required, however, be realistic and
give yourself at least 3 weeks
so that you can pass the examination.

Students studying at our CEPE
Spanish language programs in either Guadalajara or Puerto Vallarta
(both in México) may receive credit directly from the University
of Guadalajara. Most universities around the world accept credit
directly from the University of Guadalajara. Check with us A2Z Languages.
