You can start an internship at any time during
the year. The duration depends upon the needs of the employer.

Application For An Internship
To enable the Spanish language school school
to find a suitable work placement for you they require a cover
letter which sets out the reasons for your interest in the
chosen work area, the intended time period of the placement
and your motivation to work in that area. The school also
needs a copy of your resume. Additionally provide information
about your knowledge of Spanish.
On receipt of your application, the school
will make contact with suitable organizations and companies
so that they can quickly get back to you with offers of work
placements in the area of your choice.
Optimal Time To Apply
Depending on the subject-area and the duration
of the internship please apply 2-4 months before departure
to Ecuador. You can register with less notice, but it is not
recommended
Preconditions For An Internship
You should have a good knowledge of Spanish
and be able to commit at least 3 weeks. However to greatly
improve your chances of landing an internship you should have
a very good level of Spanish, have experience in the desired
work field and be willing to commit to a longer period of
work.
Specializedl Courses
The specialized courses can prepare you specifically
for the requirements of your internship. These courses are
generally offered on a one-on-one basis and are designed to
prepare you for the linguistic needs of the internship.
Knowledge of Spanish
Should you not possess an adequate level
of knowledge of Spanish, you can acquire them by taking courses
at the Spanish school. If you do know enough Spanish, there
is also the possibility toimprove your skills further by taking
a preparatory course. The specialized courses are especially
suited for this (e.g. Business Spanish).
Accommodation During The Work Experience
The Spanish school is happy to offer you
accommodation in one of their host families for the duration
of your work experience at half-board (2 meals per day).
