Argentina: Weather / Climate
As one of the largest countries in the world, the
climate / weather in Argentina varies greatly from one region to
another. Located in the Southern Hemisphere, winter runs from July
to October, while the summer runs from December to March. The climate
can range from humid and hot in the northern provinces to rainy
in cold in the southern provinces. In the north, the summer temperature
will average 90F and the winter between 50-60F.
Due to the vast and varied terrain it is impossible
to generalize about Argentina in terms of climate / weather. If
you are traveling to Argentina to learn Spanish, think about where
you want to go, research that area, and bring appropriate clothing.
